Accessing your workspaces

Logging in to your workspaces

You must have a valid access account to log in to a workspace. Contact your administrator if you do not have a valid access account. You can also contact our support team at support@stent.io.

When you log in for the first time, you must authenticate yourself before you can access the workspace. Stent's authentication mechanism is password-less, which means that you don't use a password to access it. Instead, you must provide a code sent to your email address that's only valid for 30 minutes. Once you're authenticated, you can access the service for 30 days without having to log in again.

  1. Go to https://app.stent.io and enter your email address, then click the Submit button.

  2. You'll then receive a six-digit code at the email address you entered. This code is only valid for 30 minutes. If you try to use it after it expires, you'll need to repeat step 1.

  3. Enter the six-digit code in the field provided and click Submit. You'll receive an error if the email address you used doesn't belong to a known user. Contact an administrator and verify the email.

  4. If you're a member of several workspaces, you'll be able to select the one you want to access from a list of workspaces of which you're a member.

If you don't receive a code by email after performing step 1, check that the email address you entered is valid, and check to see if the email went to your junk mail folder.

Once you're logged in, you can easily switch workspaces by using the selector on the left side of the screen. This selector provides a list of all of the workspaces of which you're a member in the form of condensed icons.

You can display the workspaces' names, or search by workspace name by clicking the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of the screen.

Logging out

To log out, click the arrow to the right of your name at the top left of the screen, then click the Sign out option. Note that this will log you out of all workspaces to which you were logged in.
